Overview

Poor indoor air quality is invisible until someone starts feeling its effects — this system puts real numbers behind it. Sensors placed around a building continuously measure particulate matter, CO2, temperature, and humidity, and stream readings back to a live dashboard.

When any reading crosses a configurable threshold, the system automatically alerts the people responsible, so ventilation or filtration can be adjusted before air quality becomes a comfort or health problem.

How It Works

Each sensor node samples the air every few seconds, publishes readings over MQTT, and the backend stores a rolling history for trend charts and alerting.
